Guided tour of the Philharmonic Hall

From this season, the OPRL is offering the individual public a complete guided tour in French of the Philharmonic Hall (max. 30 people). This guided tour allows you to discover the stylistic, technical and historical particularities of this prestigious building, through a route that includes the façade, the hall and its stage, the organ, the foyer but also more secret places: the cellars and the backstage. The Philharmonic Hall is one of the architectural jewels of Liège and one of the most elaborate concert halls of the nineteenth century, it was notably the first electrified hall in Belgium. Home of the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra of Liège, its history began in 1887, on the initiative of the Royal Conservatory of Music of Liège.
