Siegfried-Idyll
For several years now, violinist Renaud Capuçon has also been making a name for himself as a conductor. With the OPRL, he leadsus into the tender, loving world of Wagner's Siegfried Idyll, a work dedicated to his wife Cosima, in which themes from the opera Siegfried resonate. The conductor also explores the theme of marital intimacy through the Interludes from Richard Strauss's opera Intermezzo and introduces us to a new work by Camille Pépin, a young Frenchwoman whose music can be described as energetic and joyful. Of course Renaud Capuçon will also pick up his violin and bow and share with us the inexhaustible freshness of the Mozartian violin. joyful.
