Audition for Double Bass Tutti
When : Tuesday 24 September 2024 at 10 a.m. (attendance required from 9.15 a.m. for the draw)
Where : Salle Philharmonique de Liège (entrance 14, rue Forgeur - 4000 LIÈGE)
How : Complete your application form online or send it by e-mail to concours@oprl.be by midnight on Saturday 14 September 2024 at the latest.
All music is to be played using orchestral tuning G-D-A-E
Auditions will consist of three rounds:
First round :
- 1er mouvement, sans cadence : DITTERSDORF, Concerto pour contrebasse en mi majeur (tonalité réelle de l’accompagnement piano : ré majeur)
- One or more orchestral excerpts (chosen by the jury, taken from the list shown in round 3)
Second round :
- 1er mouvement (sans cadence) d’une des œuvres suivantes, au choix :
- BOTTESINI, Concerto pour contrebasse n° 2 en si mineur (tonalité réelle de l’accompagnement piano : la mineur)
- KOUSSEVITZKY, Concerto pour contrebasse op. 3
- One or more orchestral excerpts (chosen by the jury, taken from the list shown in round 3)
