Early Music
The great names of early music conquer the major works of the past.
For its 20th anniversary, Vox Luminis immerses itself in the epic of Purcell's mythical King Arthur, whose melodies are still the pride of England today. As Christmas approaches, Paul Van Nevel and his ensemble Huelgas explore five centuries of sacred polyphony on the theme of the Nativity. As for Jonathan Cohen's Arcangelo ensemble, it performs hits by Vivaldi, Marcello, Rameau and Handel arranged for the guitar by Miloš, a rising star on the instrument.
