Vivaldi represents the sunshine of Italy, the vibrancy and roar of the strings in the concertos, but also the extraordinary intoxication and expressiveness (sometimes to the point of fury) of the arias. Since her participation in the soundtrack to Gérard Corbiau's film Le Roi danse, Belgian Céline Scheen has become a major figure in the field of early music. Regularly performing with many excellent ensembles, we are delighted to welcome her to work with the musicians of the OPRL on this stage she knows so well.
