CLASSIC ACADEMY WINNER
Since 2014, and on the occasion of the Fête de la musique (World Music Day), the OPRL's Classic Academy has given students from the music conservatoires of the Fédération Wallonie-Bruxelles, in the French-speaking part of Belgium, the opportunity to play - often for the first time - a concerto with symphony orchestra. Whilst the winner of the "Prix de l'Orchestre" is invited to perform again with the OPRL the following year, the winner of the "Prix du Public" (audience award) is invited to perform in a chamber music concert, which gives the young musician the opportunity to share his or her favourite works and showcase the diversity of his or her talent.
