Lionel Bringuier begins his residency as 10th Music Director of the OPRL. To open the season, he explores the French tradition through an emblematic programme. His baton will guide the Orchestra in search of the magical sparkle in The Sorcerer's Apprentice, the whimsical energy of Roussel and the twists and turns of Ravel’s waltz, with its spectacular finale. And to make the party complete, the star French cellist Gautier Capuçon will join the Orchestra to pay tribute to the timeless elegance of Saint-Saëns.
