OPRL+ Manga : Beethoven Wars

A distant planet. Two enemy peoples face a world devastated by war. Stephan and Gisèle, together with their armies, embark on an epic quest, filled with intergalactic battles... and with Beethoven's masterful music as their soundtrack. The universal values of heroism and humanism, and the eternal search for utopia are key to understanding both Beethoven’s music and the philosophy of the ‘seinen’ (youth) manga. In “Beethoven Wars, a fight for peace”, these two otherwise-distant worlds come together: the animated ‘motion manga’ will be projected onto a giant screen and will transport us into a fantastic world, while the Namur Symphonic Choir and the OPRL offer a dazzling live musical performance, in an exciting new mix of music, science fiction and manga.
