On their tour to Hungary, from Budapest to Pécs, the OPRL and Gergely Madaras are visiting three major venues in this country with a rich musical tradition, taking with them Franck's Symphony, the Orchestra's calling card as a true ambassador. Alongside the OPRL musicians, cellist István Várdai, a native of the country and a formidable virtuoso, explores the noble and heart-rending strains of Elgar's Cello Concerto.
