A regular guest of the OPRL, Canadian pianist Jan Lisiecki returns to Liège for a recital conceived as an impressive anthology of dances from all over the world, including Martinů's Czech Dances, Falla's Spanish Dances from La Vida Breve, Szymanowski's Four Polish Dances, Schubert's German Dances, Bartók's Romanian Folk Dances and Ginastera's Argentine Dances. This splendid selection is completed by emblematic works such as Chopin's Grande valse brillante, Piazzolla's Libertango and Falla's famous Danza ritual del fuego (Ritual fire dance).
