Concert-lecture: Great Musicians Visiting Liège
After an evening dedicated to Countess Louisa de Mercy-Argenteau, the Friends of the OPRL and Grand Liège present a new concert-lecture, shedding light on the great international composers who passed through Liège. Three musicians from the OPRL, Aya Kitaoka, Nina Poskin, and Chloé Lanteri, accompanied by pianist Vincent Martinet, will illustrate the insightful commentary of musicologist Jean-Marc Onkelinx through excerpts from Mozart, Liszt, Mahler, Richard Strauss, Ravel, and Piazzolla, composers connected to the history of the Cité ardente, and even to the Philharmonic Hall.
