Flâneries musicales

Description

The OPRL travels to Reims to participate in the Flâneries Musicales, a festival founded in 1990, renowned for its rich and eclectic programming. Under the direction of Pierre Bleuse, the Orchestra will perform the famous Symphony "of the New World", a score that creates a skilful blend of Czech music and melodies inspired by the musical folklore of the Amerindians. Joined by Florian Noack, the OPRL tackles Richard Strauss's Burlesque, a technically formidable concerto movement, marked by the influence of Liszt and Brahms.
